SESG Waste Stream Audit and Integrated Solid Waste Methodology

  1. Simple ESG Waste Stream Audit:  At Simple Environmental Services Group, (SESG), when approaching a local waste management project, we first characterize the composition and current management of the solid waste by conducting an extensive waste stream audit on your current program. After characterizing the waste stream, we will help the our client optimize waste handling, first through waste prevention techniques, then by looking at materials recovery and recycling, composting, waste-to-energy, and landfill alternatives. Our projects include technology and cost assessments, market analysis, environmental and site assessments, and recommendations for implementation.

  2. The Simple ESG Integrated Solid Waste Methodology:  The complete ISWM includes 4 stages that detail the steps required to guarantee the proposed value realization identified.  The phases include:

    1.       Service Strategy: The Service Strategy stage assesses the organization's current Solid Waste program relative to emerging trends and technologies. The objective is to provide the client with an understanding of how their current program affects the current value realization and identify any opportunities for change.

    2.       Service Design: During this phase, the SESG team will focus on gathering all of the necessary information required to qualify and quantify the client's waste streams. Your waste services vendors will be thoroughly analyzed by our consultants to provide an in-depth understanding of how your solid waste and recyclables are being managed.  The key deliverable during this phase is an integrated Solid Waste Management implementation blueprint that maximizes the potential value.

    3.       Service Transition: The Service Transition phase is focused on completing all of the necessary tasks required to guarantee that all the value identified in the design phase is realized. At SESG, we believe this phase is the most critical.

    4.       Service Operations: During SESG Operations phase, SESG has two primary objectives.  First, to monitor the results of all changes in services.  Second, to provide weekly visits to all sites to provide ongoing monitoring and vendor management.
