Energy Management Services
Our energy management team of experts have a detailed knowledge
of all aspects of energy services, as well as access to the latest
thought leadership in energy management services. Including energy
incentives, energy rebates, and energy efficiency grants, in
addition to commercial energy and lighting audits.
Our Energy Management services include:
- Audits and Evaluations: We perform on-site
energy surveys and offer detailed reports of energy inefficiencies
and options available to reduce costs through either capital
improvements or operational changes. SEA will assist clients in
implementing any savings opportunities found during the site visit
and in certain cases SEA will fund those recommendations that
require a capital expenditure.
- Power Factor Corrections: Equipment
performance issues can sometimes have an effect on how your company
is billed by the electric companies. Through our partnerships,
certified engineers perform evaluations to determine if power
factor problems exist and offer cost effective proposals to correct
those issues.
- Tax Audit/Analysis and Recovery: Our experts
will review state tax laws to determine if the facility would
qualify for tax exemptions. We will perform a site survey,
establish the percentage of exemption, and petition the state for
refunds for past taxes paid in error. We will also work with the
utility company to ensure the correct exemption is on future
bills.
- Rebate Research and Implementation: Our
experts will leverage their vast knowledge of local, state and
federal programs offering rebates, incentives, grants, etc., for
installation of energy efficient equipment or renewable energy
sources. SEA will assist clients in meeting criteria for said
rebates, incentives, etc., and then assist in the application
process and securing of rebates.
